Samuel J. Pippin, CPA – is Vice President of Accounting and Finance for Intermed Insurance Company. Mr. Pippin has over 14 years experience in the medical professional liability industry. Prior to that, Mr. Pippin was employed in the public accounting industry with the firm of Baird, Kurtz & Dobson. Mr. Pippin received his undergraduate degree from Southwest Missouri State University in 1985 and his MBA from Drury College in 1995.

Cynthia K. Stark – is the Vice President of Claims for Intermed Insurance Co. Ms. Stark had two and a half years previous professional liability insurance experience prior to joining Intermed in August 1987. As Intermed’s first Claims Specialist, Ms. Stark set up the entire claims system that is currently in use. She later became Senior Claims Specialist and then Claim Department Supervisor before being promoted to Director of Claims in March of 1999.

Walter A. “Buck” Long – is Vice President of Marketing/Underwriting of Intermed Insurance Co. Mr. Long received his undergraduate degree from Southwest Missouri State University in 1979, and a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri in 1985. Mr. Long served as Associate Pastor of Education/Administration at South Haven Baptist Church from 1986 to 1996. In 1996, he joined Intermed as Marketing Representative, and has served as Marketing Director since March of 1999.
